Abstract

Objective: The purpose of this study is to report on improvements seen in a male patient under chiropractic care with reported drop attacks and daily nausea, vomiting and headaches.

Clinical Features: A 23-year-old male complaining of drop attacks and daily nausea, vomiting and severe headaches and back pain for five years prior to beginning chiropractic care.

Intervention and Outcomes: The chiropractic care delivered utilized the Orthospinology procedure to detect and reduce upper cervical subluxations. After one month of care the patient reported resolution of drop attacks and daily vomiting, as well as other complaints.

Conclusion: This case study demonstrates successful management of a male patient suffering from symptoms, in theory, caused by abnormal intracranial pressure. Further research is encouraged.
